OK so here it goes.
I'm here because I believe in Sacramento, I'm here because I believe that we can be a truly great urban city. I believe that I will play a major part in getting that done I'm my lifetime.
I love true urban-ism. (when it is done right)
I believe that one of the best ways to get us where we need to be as a city is the get the people active.
Lastly I believe that urban housing should be affordable. That urban life should be attainable not merely a place for those who have made it to the top.
Thus this site.
Please post your thoughts. Lets talk about what is being proposed what has Been built and what we want to see built in our city. I'm interested in every ones thoughts about what it takes to get Sacramento on the map as a truly great place to live!
So I invite you to participate in our cause as residents of this great city and help create the vision that this city needs.
I heard a Quote once that said "Generally Men hit where they aim" (I could use help with the author on this one)
So lets start aiming for ourselves and quit letting other people do it for us.
We can get where we want to go as long as it is defined. With out a definition we will get nowhere.
So lets go for it
Im glad you are here and look forward to this site getting off the ground

I look forward to you blog. I am too a big believer in what our urban core is becoming and where it can go
Please feel free to read my blog to see how I feel we can get there. It's only about 5 posts, but it's getting there.
Yes, affordable housing is a MUST. Unfortunately, it's going to be hard to get large amounts of it given the high cost of construction and expensive land costs in our downtown. City subsidies will be needed to get there. i.e. 16M for Plaza Lofts on 9th and J
There is a great message board that I post on as well with LOTS of discussion on the topic. Feel free to join

Ok But why. is it building costs? or is it land costs. or is it just the city process is to leingthy.
Why does housing not conform to the standard of supply and demand?
Please help me out here.
